This is an exquisite 1:100 scale model of the 'Amerigo Vespucci', with details including bound masts, yards with stunt's booms and foot ropes, carved full sails running and standing rigging with carved scale blocks, dolphin-striker, safety nets, carved fiddle-end prow with coat-of-arms, anchor with chains and hawse pipes, catheads, bitts, stove pipe, sail winch, belaying rails and pins, companionway, helm and tiller, ship's bell and other details. The double rosewood planked hull with open gun ports with metal guns, pressed stern and quarter gallery decoration boarding companionway.

Amerigo Vespucci ':This is an accurate replica of an 18th century pirate ship, with its square-rigged foremast and fore-and–aft sails on its main mast, the brigantine was fast, easy to maneuver and had twice the cargo space of a sloop. No wonder it became the favorite vessel of pirates. A typical brigantine carried as many as 100 pirates and mounted enough cannon to intimidate any possible target!
